I got mine when the store opened at 8:30. There was a small line and plenty of stock. I bought a stand and a tool set. I have set up the stand and it holds my bike firmly and seems to do what I expect. Haven't tried out any of the tools, but this would be my first time purchasing bike specific tools.
Anyone know if the Bike was or bike degreaser is any good? Only $5
I also saw a lot of the people go for the sunglasses this morning.

I went into Aldi's when the doors opened this morning. Wow, what a frenzy.
A couple of guys walked out with a bike each and a stack of other stuff.
A friend with me bought $250 worth, I spent just over a $100.
I figured the returns policy is so good I can take anything back.
me
2xsunnies, 1socks, 1mtb knicks, 1 roadie knicks, 1 helmet, 1 degreaser, 2 gloves.
her
2x sunnies, 2socks, 1 shoes, 1 light, what looked like about 4 pairs knicks and 3 jerseys.
I will report back later tonight re quality. None of the stuff is outstanding, but feels of moderate quality.

...whatever the road rules, self-preservation is the absolute priority for a cyclist when mixing it with motorised traffic.

Here's a conversion of an aldi bike stand to a workshop type stand, with minimal expense.
