I currently wear Shimano shoes but am considering a pair of Pearl Izumi ones. My understanding is that Shimano own Pearl Izumi so wondered if anyone can comment on how similar their shoe sizes are.
Any ideas?

The shoe sizing seems to depend what year they are, but for me (1.5 years ago) it was 0.5 size up for Shimano and 1.0 for the Pearlies.

Just looking at some of the Pearl Izumi Octane SL III's on special at Pushy's at the moment. http://www.pushys.com.au/pearl-izumi-oc ... -2014.html
I currently have 3 year old Shimano R077 (in size 45) as my cheap commuter shoes and some Fizik R3's but the Fizik's just don't fit well enough so just ride in the crappy Shimano shoes all the time. Looking for something with a carbon sole.
