BikeExchange local shops

I have been looking for a new wheelset and was hoping to buy locally i.e. Brisbane gold coast so have been using bikeExchange searching for products.
I have been constantly contacting shops and asking about advertised items usually to find they have not got this advertised product any more no wonder people are turning to online stores. I wonder if anyone else has noticed this.
