I don't think I will be wanting a new bike soon, but I would want to upgrade some of parts soon, like the handlebars grips because I have found that when I am riding they slide down the handlebars, I will have to get grips that mount to the handlebars and tighten. I have also lost my end caps for the handlebars due to a crash of the many crashes I have had on my bike already.

I didn't realise how destructive bicycle handlebars could be! Should I get the OEM end caps or 3rd party? If so, which ones would you recommend? Also could you recommended the best clamping handlebars grips for offroad use?

A decent set of lock on grips covers the need for caps too

I've ised generic plastic plugs a few times. Managed to get some for the kids bikes for around $2.50 each, need to be cheap because the kids drop them, and tend to use them up fast.

I didn't know that, I will just get lock on grips that have a built in end.

But the best feature of these grips are that you can engrave custom text into outer rings, which I will put my mobile number so if I loose my bike and someone finds my bike, hopefully they will ring that number.
