Hi all first post on forums.
I was wondering if there is any quality Rochshox or Fox suspension forks for under $300 for a Hardtail Merida Big Seven 300.
Thanks everyone

Welcome.
As for the forks...nothing that would be worth your while...if you have an extra $150...yes. Don't discount X-Fusion as an option...the Velvet RL2 would make it a new bike.

Ours is not to reason why...merely to point and giggle

Keep an eye on the UK and US bike shops of choice. They often have good sales over Christmas and just after. Not much bike riding in those areas due to snow, So a good time to buy for us. $300 is a tight budget for a 29er fork

RockShox XC 30 or Recon Silver would just fit within your budget. As far as I know Fox don't offer anything that low in the market.
I had a thought, but it got run over as it crossed my mind.

In this thread it was suggested that RockShock recons were a bare minimum for a decent working fork, and the cheaper models weren't really worth it in terms of providing adequate damping and rebound.

Stretch the budget a bit and get the xc30 solo air. It's pretty much a Reba with smaller stantions.
It's also a current model rock shox have a lot of stock for 27.5
