So, whaddaya reckon?
Noticed crack behind headtube today on my 2012 roubaix.
Could be just paint, so before you all jump down my throat, yes I am taking it to my LBS to inspect.
(Excuse the pics, handheld 135mm macro at 100iso under flouro's (AT) 1/18th of a second)
But, whaddaya reckon?

I had a similar looking "scratch" and got a brand new frame under warranty. Make sure your LBS gets it checked by the local Specialized rep.

Scratch it is!
Thin clear coat top layer. Got an investigative fingernail on it for a 'flick flick' and it flaked off either side of the scratch. Like wax. Got a little 2000 grit wet and dry on it, a little clear nail polish, better than new.

You'll soon know if you try to buff it out and it err doesn't buff
Or go into the shed turn the lights off and shine a torch into the crack ....
Hopefully it's a scratch

Yep, absolutely confident it's a scratch as it polished out to glass smooth. 1,000 lumens on its good, but bright sunlight is the best. All good.
