These fit on a TCR aero post fine, dont use the saddle bag clip they just fall off.

Options I am considering include the Giant light Jesmol linked. Also considering the iLUMENOX SLASH SS - L327R USB Light Red Light, Cateye Rapid X TL-LD700-R and MOON Comet USB Rechargeable 35 Lumens Red Rear Flashing Bike...

Quite a robust band which stretches around nicely. Very confident it will stay put and not detach itself or break. I'm told by people behind me it is suitably bright
I also have a Cateye Rapid, which was great until the elastic band snapped after a few weeks of use. Thankfully it snapped while my bike was inside, so I found the light simply sitting on the floor. Am currently investigating some other more reliable options to attach it to my seat post.

I wrapped my aero seatpost in cling wrap and after mixing the putty, I pushed it against the aero seatpost and let it harden. I then sanded the back and side of the "adapter" I made to resemble a normal seatpost.
Once I finished that, I put a thin smear of sealant on the outside of the new "seatpost" and then clamp my new light

It sits perfectly, and doesnt move
cheers

The serfas thunderbolt is better as it has 2 straps. Still bright and a good runtime. With the 2 straps it is less apt to twist to the side than the moon light.

albeit a little dearer than you were probably thinking.
I'm looking at getting one or similar and think they make a lot of sense
Gimme a little time and I'll find the link that mentions it working on an aero seat-post
Whoop
Actually within the linked page there is mention:
"The Fly6 is supplied with two seatpost mounting brackets so the device can be shared between a pair of bikes (or friends). Two rubber straps are used to attach the bracket to the seatpost and alignment spacers are provided (5° and 10°) for fine-tuning the camera angle. In total, there are two pairs of short mounting straps, one pair of long straps, two 5° spacers, two 10° spacers, plus one adaptor for aero seat posts."
A pic in this one:
http://www.techly.com.au/2014/04/30/fly ... ail-light/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Mentioned:
"I was worried the camera wouldn’t fit on my road bike’s aero seatpost, but the manufacturers are way ahead of me and included a rubber spacer for exactly this purpose."
Fellow forum member Andrew has a review with pics of what I think may be the original version on his Aushiker site:
http://aushiker.com/fly6/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Good grief, theres even a review on this site:

+1 that what i did with my TCRDuck! wrote:Ask your friendly Spesh dealer, they might have some brackets from legally-required reflectors kicking around to suit that post. You may then be able to mount the base part of the light bracket to that. Some creativity may be needed, as the two parts of the assemblies do not always match.

The way I got around this for my S5 aero seat post was to buy a $3 chinese light from eBay, the ones with the long band and thumb screw, fitted to post fine with minimal modification, then used a decent light in the bracket..
I scrapped using it tho after buying a NiteFlux RZ8, which I just attach to my helmet with a couple of garmin rubber bands when I need it... He'll bright, and nothing ugly on my bike....

Thanks you!
I'll have to pay something else forward, of mine that is currently unused.

1, its currently being used. 2, post might be a bit of an issue!
Sorry to disappoint...
I actually gave a set of perfectly useable / sellable pedals and cleats to a new road rider a week or 2 back.
Maybe I am just getting some good karma back my way!

For use with aero seat tubes with a sharper trailing edge (e.g. Cervelo), I did the following:
1. get yourself a piece of 4-5mm thick rubber sheet and cut-out a rectangular section around 40mm long x 10mm wide.
2. cut a 4mm wide x 2mm deep groove down the centre of the rectangular section
3. slip the piece in between the light and seatpost (using the groove as a locater) and away you go.
