Yes, plenty of us, particularly the tourists. Good, but shipping from Germany can be slow. Hard to believe I know, but the Royal Mail seems more efficient than Deutsche Post or DHL.

Yep another vote for them. I have had them build two wheels for me as well (dynamo builds). Those wheels where well built and still going strong on my touring bikes.

Have spend $12,473.30 at starbike. No issues. Allow 2 weeks for delivery.

I've bought from them plenty of times, they support the weight weenies forum so have lots of nice light bits.

Someone here was recently claiming their credit card details were hacked after using the card with them though, no clue if they were indeed to blame. Maybe use paypal in case.

I had a problem with them sending a centre lock dynohub instead of a six bolt.
Auspost wanted a fortune to return it.
I offerred to take both if they gave me a decent discount on the wrong one in order for a mutually reasonable outcome.
They gave me a huge discount not only on the two Son28s but also everything on my large order.
I recommend them highly.
Be prepared for courier pigeon postage although occasionally they will surprise you.
Stuff from Germany is usually very very slow so be prepared.

Things have improved in the last couple of years and should definitely be better this side of xmas. :)

Perhaps other Euro online stores of note have escaped your attention.

bike24.de

xxcycle.com

hibike,com

I've personally used both starlike and bike24 but noticed others using xxcycle and hibike.com.

In Germany I always liked r2-bike.com I like how you can list everything in weight order. Great site for weightwheenies.

Just came across starbike in my googling lastnight and I'm very impressed with their prices - very competitive with the usual big online retailers with bigger (different) range.
Glad to hear they have good reviews here.

I'm keen to get a carbon wheelset from them
