I have lost one of my rail bolts for my K-Edge GoPro saddle mount. Any ideas where I might be able to find one of the right size with countersunk head, etc?
One of the two that clamp the two "halves" to the saddle rails. I was lucky the other one was tight so I didn't lose the whole thing plus camera.

IIRC they are a standard M4 stainless screw, socket head - 16mm or maybe 20mm.
If you can't find someone local, I am sure Mr Stainless on Victoria Rd Drummoyne sells them.
You might want to think about attaching a lanyard to your camera - a short fishing leader does the job nicely

Agree RE lanyard. Laziness and luck can only last me so far.find_bruce wrote:IIRC they are a standard M4 stainless screw, socket head - 16mm or maybe 20mm.

I spoke to a helpful guy at the Aus distributor FE Sports who said that while they don't have many spares (and usually salvage from warranty returns, etc) that they go to their local bolt supplier. I'm going to Coventry fasteners to try my luck less than 1km from my office .

Good call Bruce.
Both the saddle rail bolts and the GoPro mount are M5 x 16mm with different heads. I could only buy boxes of 100. I now have lots of spares
