I'm looking for cheap options of getting some lower gears in to my cell brunswick.
Struggling on some climbs and having to get out of the seat and grind the bike to get it up big hills.
The running gear is stocl currently as below:
Cassette SRAM PG-1050 11-26T, 10sp
Crankset SRAM S350 w/ CX PowerGlide 36x46T chainrings
Front Derailleur SRAM Apex 10sp 31.8mm Clamp-on
Rear Derailleur SRAM Rival 10sp short cage w/ Exact Actuation
Whats the easiest/cheapest way to get some lower gearing?
Recommend a smaller front chain ring? different cassette?

best bet is to change the rear cassette (11-32) + rear derailleur approx $120 for both parts.

Pretty sure the derailleur won't need changing, given the front ring difference is only 10T - it opens up a bit more capacity for a wider range cassette, and I'm pretty sure all Rival derailleurs from inside the last four years or so are 32T compatible.
You will probably need a new chain to fit the bigger cassette - it's probable that the current chain length is set for the 26T & won't allow a bigger sprocket.

I had a thought, but it got run over as it crossed my mind.
