Hey I'm wondering if I can put a 32mm tyre on this wheelset as I currently have 32mm tyres on my current wheels.
The shimano website states: Recommended Tire width 19-28C.

Am I fine with 32mm even though its not reccomended.
Anyone use these or the shimano WH-501's with 32mm tyres or wider?

They're only about a 15mm internal width, so getting the beads of wider tyres in will be a bit of a squeeze. The wider profile also puts more stress on the rim sidewalls, which will reduce rim life, especially if you're using rim brakes.
I had a thought, but it got run over as it crossed my mind.

Thanks Duck.
Does anyone know a 8 speed 700c wheel that can take 32mm tyre for sub $300?
I don't really want to buy new tyres since there haven't had much km's on them.

I need to get new wheels my stock ones are no good.
I've found sheldon browns website about different tires onto rims and it turns out a 15mm rim interior can pair up with a 32mm tire so I've answer my own question
http://www.shimano.com.au/publish/conte ... ype-..html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
The graph at the bottom of the website.
So I should be fine buying these wheels to pair up with my current 32mm tires.
But i'll buy 28mm's when my 32's are gone.
