It's listed as $699 USD, with the P1 being $1199 USD and $1600 AUD, perhaps about $1100 AUD might be the go?
Although I'd need to replace my crank from Ultegra 6800 to use it Might be a deal breaker there.

Data looks good, even though I have not compared it to the G3 data I collected from the same rides.
Two out of the six rides, my Garmin did report me putting out 64,000 watts for a second or two. Easily fixed in Golden Cheetah and it looks like Strava just ignore it.
Did check my pedals and saw this scrape
It is underneath the right pedal, so unlikely from today's race, all left turns. On way home I had fun with some brick paved roundabouts, but I don't think I lay it over a 30 degrees while pedalling. Which is what is needed to touch the pedal down.

Read a lot of comments about this random spike issue. Are you still getting it? Would be a bit annoying as it could affect the NP and average power etc.nickobec wrote:Quick report, 1st week, 400km, 1st race.

Not sure what you mean.toolonglegs wrote:Didn't realize that the C1 crank rings would cost around €200 per year on top of buy cost... maybe not for me .
I see the C1 has gone on pre-order sale for US$700.

Not much difference to pedals though I suppose ... Would chew through a pair pedals bodies in a similar time.

But still, yeah this was a big turn-off for me with the Powertap C1 - pretty much stuck with propriety chainrings which is far worse than propriety cleats that aren't even.

FE Sports have the new model of the stages still at the same prices though.Bluejay87 wrote:hmmm stages dropped to $529 USD so around $750 AUD. Nearly 1k less than powertap. Would be hard to justify the extra for me for dual sided/ more portable. Single side should be OK, and I don't think i'll be swapping power meter between bikes every anyway.

Do you mean $1550?ft_critical wrote:Ordered mine from Pushy's last week, once they clear customs they will be on their way... so end of Oct they say. 1450 for mine delivered.
I'm interested to hear from those who have them whether they are experiencing power spikes. There's significant discussion of this on the DCRain maker blog comments section. Many people experiencing issues. There's meant to be a firmware fix. This is probably the only thing holding me back at this stage. I've been burned buying gen1 products before and I'd like to see all the kinks definitively sorted before I lay 1.6k down on them.

I am also eager to get this but want to make sure that it has no issues with Garmin units and power spikes. I'm a total newbie to power meter scene but would like to give it a try to improve on my cycling.....
