Here are the links for the bikes I'm considering:
$1,010 - Redline Proline Pro-24: http://www.99bikes.com.au/bike15-redlin ... grey-black" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
$1,315 - GT Speed Series: http://www.99bikes.com.au/bike15-gt-spe ... atte-black" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
$1,409 - DK Elite Cruiser Satin Black: http://www.99bikes.com.au/bike15-dk-eli ... atin-black" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Which of these is the best, and why? I have no idea whether DK, GT, or Redline is the best brand, or whether it's specific on the individual bike. What would you choose and why?
Thanks guys.

Do you want to race cruiser class? If so, they all do the same thing and feel pretty much the same on a race track.

Yeah, eventually that would be the plan, but to begin with it's mainly just for street cruising and because I prefer the BMX style of bikes over others I chose the 24".metalrideroz wrote:Do you want to race cruiser class? I'd choose the DK cause its 7005 alloy and has better wheels.

You can't really go wrong with any of them; DK & Redline are BMX specialists, GT began with BMX, all have a decent history. The DK is the best spec though.
I had a thought, but it got run over as it crossed my mind.

While the race bikes feel at home on a race track they aren't much fun to ride on the street, super stiff and hard to manual. Maybe go for a test ride first to see how they feel. You may consider one of these bikes for the street,pobri19 wrote: Yeah, eventually that would be the plan, but to begin with it's mainly just for street cruising and because I prefer the BMX style of bikes over others I chose the 24".

and used racer with the rest of the budget.

Definately compare bikes in other shops and not just 99Bikes. These brands are all good - but any brand will make bikes in different price ranges - so if you know your budget, I suggest looking at other local bike shops and seeing which bike is most suited, you feel that gives you the best value plus you like the best.
