Cycling Express Experiences

Postby hubbardhero » Wed Feb 03, 2016 3:50 pm

Hi everyone,

Just doing a shop around online and found the Cycling Express website.

Are they based in Australia? Haven't heard much about them.

Are they any good?

Was hoping for something a bit more recent. Seems that thread is a few years old.

I ordered a Castelli vest from them a few months back as they had quite a good price. No complaints as I received it in less than a week. If you use the code CELOVESU12 looks like you get 12% off as well.

One transaction, no problems.

Disclaimer: it WAS before they took their ops offshore.

The other Cycling Express thread has had a long life span.

In short, they started in Australia and retain strong connection with this country though are located offshore. I understand that they note that technically you wont incur any import fees. I met and interviewed the company founder last year so you can get a bit more info in that article: https://www.bicycles.net.au/2015/05/cyc ... -retailer/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

For your peace of mind you could contact them (e.g. email) and make a decision based on their response time and quality of the reply.

Hello.
I purchased a Serfas TSL-S500 front light from bicycle express around 70 dollars, which is a good price.I did need to get a UK/Aust adaptor for another 10er. As above, not super quick.Am happy with the product and service.
