Hi all,
I'm looking to fit 2 x mtb's to our small car (2011 Suzuki Swift).
I'm wondering what the preference is? I have been given a "strap on" rack but not sure if they are reliable? I have a fear of it loosening and coming off... I was looking at roof racks, but am leaning towards keeping the strap or going tow bar.
2nd question is, will even the strap on rack require a light board? Seems like every type of rack will cover the lights and number plate.
Sorry if this is a stupid question, I'm new to this.
Thanks in advance.
J

Tow bar. has many uses.
Pacific Brand $120-ish. 2 bike.
has velcro straps instead of a screw down top plate and a base which can remain on the towbar when using a trailer.

How much will it cost to fit a towbar to the Swift? My current car came with one so I didn't have to do it myself!
But we like the Reece hitch towbar and the Pacific carrier, we got the 4 bike model as we have 2 kids.
You know, I've never thought about the license plate being blocked....oops

Thanks guys. Seeing though I have the strap thing already, are they not any good? At least for a couple months and for 1 bike.
