Cranks

Postby Connor.Burns » Sat Apr 30, 2016 10:17 pm

I need a new pair of cranks. I've never bought cranks for my bike and didn't want to spend money on some that wouldn't fit, so i was wondering if anyone would be able to recommend me a decent pair. I'd really like some that are similar in shape to like saints with that rectangular kind of shape but I'd be fine with round ones.
Frame is a 2011 Leaf Cycles Ruler Pro and I think it has a 68mm width and a 36mm diameter shell .
Thanks.

The ruler is a tough dirt bike isn't it? You'll be wanting something heavy duty...
...whatever the road rules, self-preservation is the absolute priority for a cyclist when mixing it with motorised traffic.

You won't find any MTB cranks that will fit. Cranks such as the Saint have a 24mm diameter bottom bracket spindle, the Mid BB in your frame is designed for 19mm spindles. You will need a BMX/Dirt Jump-specific crank to suit.
I had a thought, but it got run over as it crossed my mind.
