Anyone bought this pedal with kickstand? Is it useful?

This looks like junk - made by people who get an interesting idea, but are not really bike riders and try and 'reinvent the wheel' or create solutions to problems that don't exist.

Even without handling it, there are a number of problems.

1 - The pedal moves (rotates) so add a bit more imbalance to the equation
2 - Height means the bike would be on a lean and also means instability. For comparision, just consider the length (height) of a kickstand.
3 - More moving parts - more things that go wrong. If the spring fastener were to release while riding, the results would be catatrophic
4 - Questionable grip - while the edges have grip - the middle is flat and smooth
5 - More complicated to use than a regular kickstand - why require buttons and the hands to operate when a regular kickstand just needs a foot.

In short - this is worth avoiding. Use the current pedal you have if they are comfortable and buy a regular kickstand if you need one - it will be safer and more effective.

Just on past experience as a kid using your pedal as a kickstand this thing is going to be dodgy and fail.
