So no opinions on the Shimano RP5 shoes? Can get them for a good price from Pushys at the moment.
I am keen to make the change to road shoes, but don't feel the need for full blown race shoes (read expensive) for my riding.
And for some reason white appeals
Edited for typo

ill talk about my exp. and i don't go trying all the brands but have tried a few.
shimano - entry level shoes. my first. good and does the job.
sidi wire carbon - comfortable but pricey. can be had on sales for about 200. worth it for the comfort
bont riot - buckles can dig in a bit, but what i like about these shoes is the rock solid power transferring stiff sole (more than sidi's). you chuck these in the microwave to mould the soles.
i use speedplay because = more adjustment. i use mtb pedals for touring (with shimano road shoes) for walking around as well. nothing really wrong with shimano road cleats either.
