Just recently our one and only bike shop closed up and the nearest decent bike shop is 300klms away.
To save a 600klm round trip to buy things can anyone recommend an Australian based online store.
I was interested in purchasing some gear from Chain Reaction Cycles thinking its an Australian store but after receiving a message from them I find their based in Ireland.

Bike Bug, numerous physical Aussie stores and a terrific online store. Very price competitive too.

I've been using Moruya Bicycles for a while for bits and pieces. They are more of an online LBS (with all the useful things an LBS traditionally has) rather than a Big Box retailer. The store has recently changed hands and I hope the new owners will keep up the tradition of good on-line service.
At the big box end you have people like TBE who will post stock anywhere. And then there's the our-brand-plus-other-stuff approach of Reid Cycles.
This is ignoring the large number of specialised little stores who have interesting stuff (such as VO, Compass, Rivendell) who will post but have a tightly focused (or not so good) online store (e.g. Cheeky Monkey Transport, Treadly Bike Shop, Commuter Cycling ))

Mine in order of preference based on range/cost etc.
1. Pushys
2. Bikebug
3. Cell
4. Cyclingdeal
5. 99 bikes (I I do a lot of click and collect with this store so don't really count it as my top online store).

Another vote for Pushys. HAve used them and always got decent prices and very quick delivery.
Have used cell a couple of times, but they don't seem to have the range of other shops.
Cycling deal seem to stock more budget gear and was good when building my fixie.

While Chain Reaction is based in Ireland I've found their delivery to be quite quick.

Try BikeExchange.com.au. Lots of local bike shops have their products available there.
