This is the first I've seen or heard of Wiggle shipping orders from within Australia, but on my two latest orders.
Ordered 9 October:
Ordered 5 October:
Has this happened to anyone else before? In both instances it was the cheapest delivery option.

I think it's just when Wiggle ship their order from the UK, the postal provider they use send the info to Aust Post so it gets recorded.
The part where it says arrived at destination country to me indicates that the parcels are still coming from overseas

Perhaps so, but I wonder why then it would say 'SENDER: WIGGLE - VIC'tez001 wrote:I think it's just when Wiggle ship their order from the UK, the postal provider they use send the info to Aust Post so it gets recorded.

Yes. It had been sending parcels from Melbourne for over 2 years.
They do it from UK or Melbourne depending on stocks availability.
I did get parcels from Wiggle's Melbourne depot a few times.

The packages all come from the UK and are transported bulk. They may be dispatched from the Melbourne warehouse - but there is no GST / duty for items under $1000 so they are still an import.
They have been doing this for some time - but I don't know if every single item passes through the facility.

Well that's interesting, it looks like both packages arrived from NSW.

AFAIK, they bulk fly container loads to major terminals for readdressing and forwarding, only way they could afford to offer cheap/free shipping.
...whatever the road rules, self-preservation is the absolute priority for a cyclist when mixing it with motorised traffic.
