If anyone knows where I can get a hold of a headset with the following SHIS identification I would appreciate it:
Upper: ZS41/28.6
Lower: ZS41/30
All the zero stack types seem to be for a head tube bore of 44 mm.
Thanks

I doubt there is such a beast. There simply wouldn't be enough room for an interated bearing.
You may be able to use a Chris King Devolution headset, but it won't be integrated.

Thanks RonK, I'll have a look at that.RonK wrote:I doubt there is such a beast. There simply wouldn't be enough room for an interated bearing.

I can't believe the difficulty in finding this. The bike is an oldish bike that I'm trying to tart up but not that old. It's a Gitane Mach 3200. It's not for an integrated headset but what they're calling semi integrated. The bearings still sit inside the head tube, like an integrated headset but they sit on cups rather than on an angled lip inside the head tube, as in an integrated set up.
The search goes on.
Cheers

I guess you have checked the Cane Creek website? They had the most selection when I went through the headset merry-go-round last year.

Yes, checked out each one on their website. Not the right size. Funny though, the old headset was a Cane Creek headset. Just discontinued I guessrodneycc wrote:I guess you have checked the Cane Creek website? They had the most selection when I went through the headset merry-go-round last year.
I think I've actually found one now though. It's one from BBB.
