I'm in the market for a new bike and have widdled it down to these two bikes, both have pros and cons but i really would love a second opinion before making a final decision.

Lapierre has thru axles so that would be my choice.

A few points to consider. The Scultura is better equipped. Ultegra Di2 and lighter wheelset. Also, the Scultura is standard compact versus semi-compact for the Xelius. Finally, the Scultura thru-axles are RAT which is a better system.
