Not really Touring Clothing
Postby AnitaGom » Tue Mar 07, 2017 8:23 am
Hi guys, i'm currently looking to buy a new bike but don't want to buy a specifically touring bike since the majority of the time ill be using for other purposes. So i'm just wondering on could suggest a good road bike that could be used occasionally for touring?

You will be lucky if many notice and respond to your question posted in an old thread about clothing. There is nothing wrong with starting a new thread in the touring bikes forum.AnitaGom wrote:Hi guys, i'm currently looking to buy a new bike but don't want to buy a specifically touring bike since the majority of the time ill be using for other purposes. But what are your "other purposes"? A touring bike is a good all-round bike for commuting and general urban riding.
Look at the Vivente World Randonneur. It is very popular with forum members. Vivente World Randonneur - the best bang for your buck
If you mean a sportive bike, well none of them are very well suited to touring.

As Ronk says .. what are your other purposes?
If you want a light weight racing bike that will also tour ...would like asking for a sports car that will also carry a 1 ton load.
