Hi,
Can anyone recommend any good/reputable brand/model of mens bikes that come with coaster brakes?
Looking online, it seems to be hard to find mens bikes (not ladies or kids) fitted with rear pedal brakes in Australia.
(no "why would you want coaster brakes?" "but gears are better" "coaster brakes are for kids" replies, please)
Thanks!

I still have to ask why? There hasn't been a bike I've rode with coaster breaks for more than 20 years. Shimano still makes them but I'm struggling to find a reason why you would want them.

Ikea bike in the 28inch and with the 2 speed hub ( could be the sram automatix ?)
Not cheap but go the front and rear racks and you are good for the next 10 years.

Is there a market niche that hasn't been filled ? Plenty out there using the shimano 3 speed hub.
Lekker Sportief Mens
Creme CafeRacer Uno Mens Bike 2017
If you want cheap, but a cheap single speed , eg reid downtown, sell the rear brake & buy a wheel with a coaster hub

as FB said, get one of the hundreds of fixies around and simply swap or lace a coaster hub in it. they are niche bikes, i have one, an old repco. i also have a coaster 20" wheel from an old school bmx that now has freewheeling skyways on it.

Why mod a Reid bike when they do coaster bikes already? e.g. Ladie's Cruiser They also did a men's called the Coaster. While it's not in the current range they'll probably be in your local classifieds
