Anyone bought Lifeline brand SPD-R copy cleats from Wiggle?

They are around half the price of genuine Shimano and looking at the reviews they seem pretty good but was curious to see if anybody on here had used them?

I have previously used some SPD-R copy cleats from eBay but they weren't as good, noticeably more sloppy to cip in with.

Nope, haven't, but interested in this too - wondering, also, how 4.5 degrees of float compares to the 6deg of the traditional yellow I buy - which feel a tiny bit too 'sloppy'...

I've been thinking about giving them a try too Ross. I notice that all of the reviews there are quite positive. Some specifically mention that they clip in and out just as well as the originals.

My only hesitation would be longevity. The nature of all those feedback review thingies is that you always have a fairly limited time frame to provide the feedback. I've lost count of how many times that I've given something a 5 star rating online, only to have it break or stop working a week or two later.

I was on my second pair before switching shoes and put shimano cleats(yellow) on the new shoes.
On the bike there is no difference that I could tell, positive clip in and out and no accidental unclips.

The difference is that the lifeline ones, the extrusions to help walking around does not have a "grippy" feel to them, probably because the cleat is all one material. So when walking around its noisy and a little bit slippier. The shimano cleats extrusion is a little bit grippier, I think the extrusion is made of a different material, and I find it quieter and easier to walk around with.

Lifespan is ok in my opinion, I used it for about a year of weekend rides.

Its cheap enough to give it a go, especially if its on sale.

use both original shimano and the lifeline ones... cannot pick the difference and they last just as long.

No cleats, sorry but I am a fan of Lifeline products (HRM straps, bar tape, tubes plus prime tyres) .

Usually good pricing but ZI note that Wiggle have increased pricing to maybe bring other brands back into consideration.
