Road bike conversion

I have an Avanti Corsa with Shimano 105 gear 2x10 with dropbars
I was thinking of putting some more comfortable bars on and some flat bar shifters and brake levers
I’m having some trouble understanding which shifter and bars to use

OK, I assume you want to ride more slowly, for which the current drop bars are too low.

Firstly, can you adjust/reverse the stem to get the bars higher? Or change your stem? See this article by Sheldon Brown. Then there's always the (very) old-fashioned option of mounting them upside down. But that may be a bridge too far.

Secondly there's bars which are higher than your existing ones which can take your existing brifters, such as Dajia's Far bar (Velo Orange) or a moustache bar (Nitto/Riv'dell)

Thirdly, most Shimano gear is interchangable but there's challenges around brake pull and the 10sp MTB stuff isn't (IIRC) compatible with the road derailleurs. I'm no expert so I'll leave it to others to fill the gaps.
The easy option is 10sp bar end shifters which you can put on flatter bars.

Finally, most people find straight "flat" bars profoundly uncomfortable due to wrist strain. I like "north road" style bars for upright riding but there's many styles to choose from.

The neck is not adjustable but I could get one
Those bars you suggested look interesting
I Have seen bar end adjusters
Was hoping for a combination but only seem to come in 3x8
Have also seen separate shifter and brake Lever
Need help to choose the best type

You can buy flat bar shifters and flat bar brake levers that are compatible with road brakes and derailleurs.

Couple years ago I converted my road bike to a flat bar using a mountain bike handle bar and getting similar brakes and shifters, albeit 10 speed sram red versions, and worked out great and use this bike when riding with my family. Nothing else needed except new cables and a set of grips.

Mountain bike bars are quite wide. I bought a spank oozy vibracore and cut it down a bit.
