Hybrid forks

Postby Donski » Mon Jun 18, 2018 5:03 am

I have a shogun metro se hybrid I use to ride to work, been changing some parts lately like the handle bars, convert to 1 X 8, gonna chain seat and seat post and was looking at the forks.
Currently has Omni suspension fork but don't feel like I need a suspension fork so looking for recommendations for a suitable stiff fork to replace it
Thanks

The Shogun Metro model name covers a really broad range of bikes, some made in the 80s with steel frames, up to the newer models with aluminium frames. Probably help if we knew roughly how old, and the headset dimensions. Maybe even post a pic of yours to assist.
Campagnolo for show, SunTour for go

Here's a picture of my old Shogun Metro with solid fork.

If you are in Melbourne you might be able to find a suitable fork at the cycle saloon : http://www.cyclesaloon.org.au/ or at Ceres : http://www.thebikeshed.org.au/ or down at Bicycle recycle : http://www.bicyclerecycle.com.au/

I.M.H.O. Shoguns are great bikes

There a decent bike and it only cost me $15 but hated the bars and stem, looks better now
