not quite sure what to think...i.e. what would a UK-based Co know about issues faced by Australian riders ? Feels like a shallow marketing exercise to me, designed to create the illusion of caring or some form of affinity ..

But, I am an uber-cynic who regards marketing as slightly evil.

Viral marketing. I didn't get that email - I don't let them spam my inbox. If you had not mentioned it, I wouldn't have known.

Everything I need to buy I just get from Bikebug. Local shop too, no waiting on shipping.

I got it, I usually dump them, but it did spark enough interest for me to click on it. i.e. what can they possibly sell to prevent magpie swoops

and nope the did not sell anything that was a solution.

But it isn't an actual shop- unlike a Bikebug where you can walk through the door, speak to someone if needed and get what you want immediately.

That’s right. Canyon also have a direct to customer model while an Australian based onliine platform like Pushys are also just online.

One activity is they process returns - which is useful as its only local postage to return stuff to Wiggle (& c r c).

Wiggle have increasing out of stock items and increased pricing so maybe they might want to look there first rather than emails about magpies. Their purchasing proposition has deteriorated lately.

Used to spend heaps with wiggle, was platinum for years but have struggled over last couple to find anything worth buying, prices mostly equal (often identical) to local OLS, I would say general wiggle prices have increased 50% over that time. The stock levels are always very patchy with most size etc options not in stock for many items and many brands either just don't appear if on .au site or you get "not available for shipping to Australia" even when you use the .com.au site. I find some other uk and the German ones good but their shipping is a bit high, ok if you are buying a few things but not if just one.

Wiggle does't even feature anymore.

Depending on your definition, Wiggle still features, as they own c r c now.
