If i buy a frame set. How much does it cost to put a bike together?

I think PMC advertise their bike build service at $280.

Of course, you still need to factor in groupset, wheels and finishing kit.

+1 to Nashie's comment. Buy a complete bike as its always more expensive buying it in parts.

Maybe if you already have a couple of bikes and you want to build it up as a special project doing it exactly as you want it then go for it. But that will cost you and you never really do it this way as a cost saving exercise.

The real value is the secondhand market if you are patient enough the right bike turns up at half the price.

Correct, especially in road bikes.
