I bought a bike 6 months ago to attempt to lose some weight which has been very effective. Not long after I started I bought some XXL DHB Classic shorts which I find are great in all aspects and the pad very comfortable but after losing 20kg (with hopefully another 5 to go) they are not as tight as they once were.
My measurements would suggest that my size is down to L according to DHB's charts. What I need to do is decide what to buy to replace the Classics, I would like to go with bibs this time and am looking at either the DHB Aeron Speed or Classic bibs.
I would like whatever I buy to be fairly high cut at the front as there is still belly to reduce there which would be annoying if it was hanging over the front of the bibs.
Has anybody had experience of both these bibs and can give me some guidance on the differences between the two types of short??

Not a fan of DHB bibs. I've had two pair and they lasted stuff all time = 12mths.

I'm still using those knicks that were the subject of the review in BNA. Just starting to get a little tired now, and now replaced with some Red White Apparel Fondo bibknicks.
To say I'm impressed would be an understatement.

I would go classic over aeron.
I don't do expensive bibs.
The washing machine kills them as quick as the cheaper ones. Too much of a cycling tax there for what they are imo.
