hello craig here(barney as i am known)
found a bike on the web its a 50cm superbike many people have ridden this bike and yes its a bit old skool but the bike is for my wife as she wants in on a triathlon event
as we both have not done tri or any other events we are beginners now the bike 50cm superbike is for her , but we both wonder if it will still have its uci rulings or not accepted in an event that she may enter into the nsw area will events or promoters frown on this bike or look the other way as we are yet to understand the rules or shall both of us be joining a certain arena and be expected to use certain bikes and gear ??
any info be great as she likes the style of this bike and would like to join myself in some riding .
cheers barney back to that feathered zebra pillow stuffing -das red baron

Yes, that will be fine.
Triathlon's do not follow UCI regulations on bikes.
