Might not be to everyones tastes but currently building up a Di2 CX'er for gravel road, early morning cruddy road duties. I have had a couple of CX bikes along the way but just did not like the gearing on one and the other was the Focus Mares with the tripe fork that shook more than Ozzy.
Trying to keep the cost down a little, prob not doing it the best of ways with buying new gear here and there! Total spend looks like ~$1600 factoring in what I could sell from the group set I brought as new (0km, removed off a new bike).
First up is the frame, a Specialized Tricross 2012 I got new from a local shop. Went for an alloy frame so the required mods can be made for the Di2 fitement.
Wheels - 2014 Mavic Aksiums I picked up for a good price that will be running Sammy Slicks I already have
Brakes - Have some TRP CX9's on the way for it from Merlin
Groupo - 6770 Ultegra Di2 with a compact crank and 12-30 cassette
Stem/bars/seatpost - Zipp Course SL picked up from Facebook groups
Hopefully it will do the job not too badly!

Wow you have some nice parts to work with.
Out of interest what size tyres are you planning on running? I've been keeping an eye out for used wheelsets for a gravel tourer project and I was under the impression that nice wheelsets like the askiums could only go up to 32ish tyres.

Will you have to drill the frame for the Di2? Balls as big as church bells if so :0

No drilling of the frame required in the end!
All built for over a year and going well.
