Hi All
I'm after some advice on a good retro bar for my late 90's steel Bianchi, I'm struggling to find the right thing as most good options are 26.0 (see below)
Here's what I'm after, if anyone has flashes of inspiration that would be greatly appreciated
- Pretty sure I need 25.4mm even though the 3TTT Mutant stem (link below) was supposedly 25.8-26.0; the 25.4 bar on it at the moment is a perfect fit so I'm guessing my stem is smaller. Because it's a two-bolt stem with separate face plate it may be able to deal with 26.0mm bars but I'm not sure, any thoughts?
- Open to classic or modern bends but a bit more compact would be good, the current one has about 140mm reach and 170mm drop
- Narrow is good, 40cm C-C ideal but it's not a deal breaker
- Silver
- Light is obviously desirable
- Prefer something Italian to keep it matched but once again not a show stopper
thanks in advance
danny

Might be worth putting a 26.0 in and see how it goes - you'll have a lot more options if it works.
The only 25.4 bars that I could find that vaguely fit your requirements are these: https://www.compasscycle.com/product-ca ... andlebars/

I think you’re right, if it’s 25.8 (which increasingly looks like the case) then 26.0 will be fine and then opens up Cinelli, Nitto, etc. Still haven’t found the perfect one though, the Cinelli Gire D’Italia looks pretty close by the milky Matt silver finish isn’t quite right

The Deda Speciale 26 look pretty good: http://www.dedaelementi.com/en/speciale-26/
Or if you can tear yourself away from Italy, the Soma Highway 1: https://www.somafab.com/archives/product/highway-1-bar

By coincidence I’d just narrowed it down to the Deda or a Nitto B105. The Deda wins on the basis of being $45 and available from Wiggle so I can just add it to my next order. Thanks for your help there
