Velotechnix Fx Gekko with 20 inch rear wheel stolen last night from Apartment garage in Woody Point, Redcliffe peninsula, Qld.
Thieves cut a bolt sunk into the concrete of the garage to take it. Other bicycles were also stolen.
We are gutted over this. The trike was modified for my disabled mother and is unique. Thieves will probably remove the pedals to sell it, as there was a boot pedal on one side.
British racing green, set up for a smaller rider. Rear rack with wicker Basil dog basket.
C'mon BNA, help me out here and keep a lookout. The trike was my Mum's exercise outlet and mobility device.
Edited to add: The police have recovered the trike. Thanks to anyone who kept their eye out.
