My excuse.
I still have one last big Toblerone left from Christmas.
Until it's gone I can't get serious about eating well and daily cycling.
3kg of chocolate belly needs shifting. :D

Just as well that Toblerone isn’t near me, it would be gone in no time. I just gobbled down a couple of very nice waffles. Really great, but no good for me either.

Anyhow, there was a morning thunderstorm when I was about to leave, so that was abandoned, then my thoughts of any afternoon riding were stopped by a sudden afternoon storm. So I did about 1 hour 15 minutes on the trainer instead. Legs felt heavy and sore.

I’m still not properly recovered so no riding today. It rained anyway in the morning so everything was wet.

COVID, moving house, cold/wet weather and laziness. Ran out of excuses this morning and had my first commute in months. Gonna be a loooong road back to fitness.....

2 commutes in 2 days, feeling okay, drove today for family reasons. I'm hoping to do 3 days a week realistically from now on (heat doesn't bother me but I don't ride in the rain)

After WFH for the last 9 months or so, it was pretty easy to tell work I'll be doing just that when I looked outside and it was bucketing down.
