Just a quick question for any Rohloff users - what do you find the best chain to use with your hub? Not getting to smooth a ride feel atm with a standard 8/9 speed Shimano HD?? chain. I have heard that there are better chains than others. Alignment and chain tension are spot on...

Thought they were Gates Belt drive, my touring Vivente/ROHLOFF has.
No expert on this subject thought.
Recently changed 172.5 Gates cranks to 175, very reasonable at around $80'ish from Vivente.

I use a SRAM Pc-870, but my understanding is that you can use any single, seven or eight speed chain.
