2021 UCI Mountain Bike World Cup

I'm watching the 2021 World Cup.
The first event was run last weekend. If you want to watch it's on Red Bull TV.
Van der Poel once again put on his awesome display of explosive power in the short course event.

Amazing effort by Tom Pidcock last night to beat all the seasoned MTB'ers and MVDP. I think his smaller lighter body gave him the advantage over MVDP up the tricky hill sections.

Loana Lecomte is a little weapon! It's great to see new talent (like Pidcock also) coming through.

... and a great result for Bec at NM with a 3rd.

XC is surprisingly gnarly based on some of the highlight videos I've seen :
