Hi all, I am in the process of changing my Four Corners as while it was nice as mostly stock I felt the fit wasn’t quite right and I didn’t feel comfortable using the drops. So far have changed to a Jones Loop bar and hydraulic disc brakes.
One other change I am interested in doing is changing the crank set to 48-36-26 similar to the Trek 520. I have retained the Sora deraileurs and changed to flat bar shifters.
My question is will the Sora FD work with the Alivio crankset or is there a secret to how the current Trek 520’s get this same combination to work?

Well it looks like the crankset is out of stock. Doing a bit more research and it appears it works but not well having the mountain/trekking crank and road crank and sora FD.
