Electric Mountain bike anyone got one?

Postby Tthanlyuo » Thu Apr 09, 2020 3:40 pm

Hi guys

My wife Linda fancies getting an E mountain bike and I wondered if anyone on here has got one and if so what are they like, I am looking at possibly Haibike and Cube although I hadn't heard of either I will get bad credit loans online 24/7 for it :) I know this market has really grown in technology and design and they are becoming more and more popular so any help or advice would be appreciated

Thanks.

I have a Focus e-mtb. It is a fantastic machine. Be prepared to buy two, once your wife has one you won't be able to resist.
Haibike is probably the top premium brand of e-mtb's (with prices to match), Cube is also a premium brand. All of these brands originate from Germany.
Best value e-mtb at the moment would probably be Merida.

They are brilliant. Buy a decent one and you won't look back. Well, she'll look back waiting for you to complete the climbs :D

As with above replies - they are fantastic !

And yes , you will need two - Great for adventuring , no such thing as too far or too hilly - within reason of course .
Look at and ride a few different brands , All are great , but different motors - different preferences .

In my opinion get a better one than you need as you grow into it .
All are relatively expensive - no such thing as a cheap one .

My biggest expense is brake pads - but I ride it hard and I’m heavy (100kg)
2 chains and 1 rear cassette just under 3000km - All off road .

Enjoy the Ride

Hi. I've been riding the Focus e-mtb for over a year now. This is a fantastic bike. The options you described are good too, but they are expensive. You probably really need to take an unsecured payday loans for bad credit in order to purchase these bikes. I looked at the link you dropped. But it's always best to have multiple options.

The OP (person you replied to) posted this one question over 18 months ago, and hasn't posted since on the forums (one hit wonder :D ), so they may not see your response.

I have converted my mountain bike to an ebike - but I only use it as local commuter bike these days but I don't see how it would make that much difference other than the extra weight. I subscribe to a few different Australian ebike retailers so depending on which state you live search youtube for ebike reviews in your state.

Both Earth and Focus mountain/trekking bikes get good reviews as do many others - so it depends on how much money you have to spend.
OI onya bike!!!

Unfortunatly the Original Poster was a SEO spammer… who later edited in links to dubious financial offers into their post.
