At least Kaden won the stage last night !
How good was Kell O'Brien's lead out ! Freak
So good!

Good little sprint stage and nice to see Pederson crack the win.

Back to the the real fun from tonight.

Well, final rest day over and Remco still in Red !

Wonder what will happen to GC in the final week.

The relegation battle means that Mas's points will be REALLY valuable, so there is extra pressure for him. BEX need some more points as well, and IPT doing stunningly as ever ....

Froome watch saw him lose another 32 and a bit minutes in Stage 15, and now sits over 3 hours behind on GC in 120th or 144 riders.

Sad really

Not according to CN. Saw a story where he was "quietly building his form back up".

And tbh, he is still miles ahead of me, anywhere anytime

I don't understand the AG2R tactics in stage 15 of working to bring the break down - they didn't appear to be trying to set anything up for O'Connor, but rather to defend his top 10 position.

Seems to me to be typical of French teams - afraid of losing but not doing anything to try to gain time
Anything you can do, I can do slower

Think it's time for him to bow out gracefully

That will learn me about getting out of bed for the last 8 kms. Sad to see Roglic go down, and he's now abandoned.

Yeah that has put a big dampener on this one. Roglics little attack on a stage that seemed to be headed for the inevitable sprint was great. The stage last night just didn’t have quite the same feel at the end for the GC guys. Will be interesting to see if Mas can do anything but I’m calling this one for Remco.

Remco is holding on, and barring a multi-team ambush, looks like he'll hang on.

tbh, not that rapt with Remco winning, but he's at the front !

Apart from preferring an Aussie to win (everything! :D ), why not? Kid seems to have toned down the rhetoric now. Can't blame him for the media circus last few years. And anyway, he's 22. Gotta expect some attitude from a 22 Y.O.

A real crap outcome that one :(

At least can hang his hat on two epic stage wins though

It's more I just don't warm to him. Don't dislike him compared to some others (namely a cheater that is finally retiring), just a bit overhyped.

Meh.

He deserves the win. He's put in the hard yards for sure, won't take that away from him. He didn't fall into the top spot.

But overall, it's been an odd Vuelta - there have been some steep climbs, but it seems to have been toned down somewhat as even the long climbs aren't steep. Just doesn't seem like the ridiculously hard Vuelta's of years gone by.

As long as Mas keeps on going, he'll gain valuable relegation points for Movistar.

Lukas Plapp - what a ride. They were fast in the break but it was still interesting to see when he was drafting he still looked so relaxed.

Surprised how long they kept the break.

I'm with you on Remco. I did not really warm to him throughout the race. For a young guy he took it so seriously and did not seem that respectful of his competitors. He seemed to put on a stone cold exterior in his battle more. It was good to see that when he won, the emotion came out and the mask he had put on seemed to fall away and I warmed a lot more to him. Still, there is no denying he deserved the win. Head and shoulders above his opposition for all but 1 stage after his crash. It would be great to see a GT with Remco, Tadej and Jonas all fighting against each other!
