I will start first.
I don't know if this is the relevant section to post these images since I am from Romania, and this is an Australian forum, but I'll take my chances anyway
Here are some pictures from last year's MTB rides:

Always nice to see how others ride on the other side of the world. Romania I've seen on quite a few travelling videos on You tube during the Pandemic times when we were locked down.
An American bicycle Tourist I follow rode through Romania including the famous City of Transylvania. The Cities and Buildings are simply awesome. The Mountainous Countryside is incredible and Australia is very flat by comparison.
Our Highest Mountains on the Eastern Side of Australia are simply known as the Snowy Mountains and the highest peak is Mount Kosciuszko at 2,228 mtrs or 7310 feet high. Lots of biking goes on around there during the Warmer Months which are opposite to yours.
Thanks for the awesome pictures.
cheers

I wouldn't say Australia it's very flat, as the highest peak in Romania (Moldoveanu Peak) has about 2544m.brumby33 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 09, 2022 10:40 am

On this weekend I will cycle again on a beautiful mountain area, and I will come back with some photos.
The landscapes and the colors that nature delivers in autumn are very beautiful.

A couple of the local trails. First is known as The Bewildered Possum that runs parallel to Wakehurst Parkway opposite Manly Dam.
Next is somewhere in Ku Ring Gai Chase NP that I was exploring. Brutal climb back out on a hot day. Glad I didn't go all the way to sea level.
And this is the crew from a beginner skills day a mate dobbed me in to be a trainer on with some (very) basic skills. No idea why he thought I was the man for this, but I had a crack despite being singularly rusty.

Yes indeed, and the weather was very friendly. Usually this time of year it is very cold and rainy in this areatrailgumby wrote: ↑Mon Oct 31, 2022 9:00 pmswordfish2011 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 31, 2022 8:42 pmAs promissed I am back with some photos from the ride I did this weekend in the mountain area.
