Leon Cycles owner arrested for suspected violation of anti-dumping rules
A number of news reports about the arrest of Lijun Ding, CEO of Leon Cycles who has been charged with €26 million fraud relating to importing ebikes to the eu and evading the anti-dumping laws. Complete bikes were shipped to the EU in kit form and declared as parts with lower taxes applicable. The brand is active in Australia though I have not heard of any reports on their imports to Australia.
