Wow - $1300 for the lenses is even worse Compared to around $380 for Transitions top-level (the highest spec) multifocal lenses for "normal" frames (not wrap-around). It seems hard to comprehend that wrap-around lenses would cost 3½ times as much as top-of-the-range "normal" lenses - maybe it is because it is a very small volume (compared to normal lenses that are probably made by the million) niche item ?

I received a quote from the other Rudy Projects reseller in Perth.

The total price is $1,029, which is on par with the Rudy Projects online price. Interestingly, they charge more for the frames ($449) but only $580 for lenses with multi-coat/anti-reflective.

The lens price is on par with what I pay now for my day-to-day glasses. I think I will likely go with these.

BTW, if anyone in Perth is looking at Rudy Projects, the optometrist is at Bullseye Clinic Leederville, in Leederville. The other optometrist wanting to charge ~$500 more is in Fremantle.
