What do you think??
Postby shaunie » Fri Apr 30, 2010 10:41 am
I'm thinking of upgrading to a new track frame and through this i am looking to sell my current track frame. I am currently riding a 2008 Argon 18 it is in very good condition and looked after very well as all race bikes should be. There are no scratches or chipped paint. I am wondering what would be a reasonable price for the frame only?

What is worng with your current frame ?
The money you'll get will depend on the size, condition (reported as good), demand, and what you need to get and how desperate you are to sell.
Would it be easier to sell as a whole bike ?

I think it'd be reasonable to ask 1/3rd of the original RRP.
If you put it on ebay and highlight its fixie potential, you'll probably get more than that.

the current problem is that i have recently joined with a new sponsor and the bike shop specializes in cervelo's but with the shop not being big enough i need to pay for the frame.
i am looking just to sell the frame so i can move the components from one frame to the other.
the frame is a medium, 54-56cm
