Ok I'll bite - how does that hideous contraption improve anyone's image? On second thoughts it's probably no more ugly than the interior of a Spyker.damhooligan wrote:and that thread has no typo's in the title..
Dont underestemate car 'mamnufacturers', they know money can be made with bicycles.
Not directly by selling them, but by improving their 'image' by making people think they care about the enviroment..
And also by product branding, the more products out there with their name, the better for them, and it works..

It is ugly, for sure..find_bruce wrote: Ok I'll bite - how does that hideous contraption improve anyone's image? On second thoughts it's probably no more ugly than the interior of a Spyker.
But if a dutch car brand is making bicycles, knowing that in the netherlands the bikes are king,
it wil improve their reputation, strange but true..

Surely all the carbonistas out there would love that one? Right price bracket too.damhooligan wrote:well, if we wanna go for expensive, we have to include 'spyker'

Lamborghini's are generally four wheel drive, or am I just being a smart A!g-boaf wrote:While I like Lamborghini, I prefer that anything carrying the name and badge has 12 cylinders, at least 6 litres and no less than 600hp. And is preferably rear-wheel-driven.

I wish some Chinese make would start making copies of that frame that would fit a 20-speed groupset.DaveOZ wrote:

Uses Shimano Di2, Exclusive high profile rims which I understand means custom and there will only be 30 release.
I am guessing these will all end up in showrooms and into collections... but wonder if any lamborhini owners will fit roofracks on their cars, can hardly expect this to fit in the boot.
Well, I like it and should one end up on my door step would seriously have to consider the kit I would choose to ride this.

AUBicycles: The LM002 will fit it easily:
Carry your carbon-fibre roadie in the back of that. It might give angry motorists (you know, the type that are "bikes don't belong on roads") some reason to consider their thoughts.
I'd reckon some Lambo owners will buy these bikes - some of them are pretty passionate about the brand and the history, particularly those with collections, eg, Miura, Countach, Diablo etc. You wouldn't use it though - too much of a collectors piece.

Rumours abound of the release of the Kenworth bike 9 tonnes tare on air brakes. Rebadged Huffy Freeride apparently.

Hope there is no flaring from the exhausts on the overrun, or that Cervelo is going to be the hottest ticket in town.PA wrote:Lamborghini's make great bike carriers.
That Audi might be the latest thing for the Wörthersee Tour - but I doubt it'll convert the patrons. They'll prefer a W16 engined A3 or something like that. Doesn't interest me.

To buy or to register ? 2,300W motor, top speed on elctric only 50km/h - IIRC the debate in Oz is whether we go from 200w to the eurpoean 250W with a 24km/h speed limiter.CommuRider wrote:Audi's pedelec - the question is ...how much?
http://smh.drive.com.au/motor-news/audi ... 1ymhq.html
Only way to ride it in Oz will be on private land or if you register it as a motorbike
