Hoping not to open a debate here more just an FYI for others
Just found my new favourite chain lube - Morgan Blue (Course) it is quite thick like honey and lasts really well in the rain.
Have tried heaps of others but this seems to just last really well been riding in the Melbourne rain every day this month (well last month June and it sticks well)
It seems to give the chain that new grease sort of feel - you when you get a new chain and it is not dirty but has that amazing grease on it just like that.
Cheers,
Steve

How often do you have to reapply it?

I have only given it one app for a month - I do 60km a day 5 days a week rain hail or stupid Beach Roads Winds.
Still seems good to me - bike is due a wash this weekend so will reapply - I do give the chain a quick wipe down maybe once a week or so just get the outer crud off though.

No squeaks yet? If that's the case, I'll have to give it a shot.
I've been using Purple Extreme, but the best it can do is about two weeks before the squeaking returns...

I was using PE also which lasted 400-600kms which is great but recently switched to MB oil and although I can't comment on lastability the shifting feel and response to gear changes is definitely better.
Plus the fact I can buy MB locally makes me think I'll be using it for some time now, I just hope it lasts.
