At least if you bought it, the hoods would probably not have seen much work.

It's only 41cm at the widest though - who has narrow enough shoulders to ride on the tops?

I only ride 40 cm bars. Why is 41cm to narrow?

41cm bars here. But that bar is weird. Does it offer any advantage?

I use mostly 44 to 46cm bars, although one older favourite bike has 42cm. But the inner bars on that set that munga posted would leave almost anyone with hands close together, feeling a bit cramped. You'll guess correctly that I don't use TT aero bars. Whilst on this, I wonder how many others try to have bars as wide as their shoulders as is recommended by some bike fit people , and does it make any difference for you? Some of us in my family have broad shoulders - I'm 48cm across the hard corner bones on each shoulder (someone will know the medical definition), a couple of my sons are 47 and 49, and my little brother is 50.5. Few bike handlebars seem to be available wider than 46cm c-c, except some splayed touring bars like those from Velo Orange, and those only have the full width in the drops.

Yet a lot of the pros are moving back to narrower bars. Aero benefits apparently. Plus it's a little easier to move up in a tight pack.

I think it's a myth that narrow bars restrict your breathing.

I'm in the same camp as scott, my shoulders are 47cm but even 44cm bars are WAY too wide and feel horrible to ride on, i usually use 42s.

Can't fault the pics. fleabay score of 100% (out of 4) Now if only it had DT shifters, I'd go for it. :tongueincheek:
front valve too long, magnet left on front wheel spoke, discriminates against German buyers: "For buyers from Germany: bank transfer and picking up preferred!"
and it only was sold on 15 April for US $1,699.00 see http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/251254736465 ... 655wt_1202" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I have let the German seller know of the China listing.
Amazingly, after sending ebay both item numbers and suggesting that there was something unusual, nothing has happened. Does this means it's ridgy didge and if it sells for less than the "other" listing someone is going to get a bargain? You have to wonder why this item hasn't been pulled after comparing the two ads. Very interesting.

Here's what the seller had to say when I sent them the German link.

[ Dear 3.5sport,

yes, we failed our auction days ago
bucause the buyer cancelled his order

Seen this Shogun re-listed about 9-10 times? Optimistic to say the least..

Funny thing is, LBS to me had one traded in, far better in condition for only $80; I had to buy it but paid a few dollars more due to new tyres and bar tape.

If it was closer I would've grabbed it already. I scab the groupset and wheels at least. Unless the frame is nice and light as well.
