Pendix ebike conversion kit / retrofit review

Finally got around to the review of the German made Pendix. I don’t like it when there are major flaws, on the other hand, if someone buys it and accepts this ‘performance’ as normal, I also think that is unfair as well to the customer who pays a lot for something that should be better... at least on paar with the status quo.

There's a very interested Brompton owner I'll share this with, may take the FOMO out of not splurging on a hefty gamble.

Ouch !

The two restriction (BSA & Square drive) really narrows down available models, and the bulk is just, .... bulky.

A pity really as the basic idea would make it ideal for folding bikes... but for that price it has to be better.
