Getting a tandem from Melbourne to Albury so we can ride Albury to Sydney

Evening all,

A friend of mine rode a tandem from Sydney to Melbourne with his Dad in January this year. The tandem is still in Melbourne and he said I am the only person he knows who is silly enough to ride it back with him.

That was planned for April, then "the Rona" hit and it got put on the backburner.

2 weeks ago he said how about we do it in August? Awesome, game on. Then "the Rona" hit again.

So now we are thinking of doing Albury to Sydney but need to get the tandem to Albury. Does anyone know a a transport company that could achieve such a thing without destroying it in transit.

Try a furniture removal company to deliver on the way to Sydney, trucks seem to still be able to pass borders with permits.

call a few of the big ones who might say deliver in Canberra or Wagga.

We have had the tandem couriered from Melbourne to Albury, our ride back to Sydney over 4 days starts Thursday.
