Adelaide for Easter -- Adelaide hills route recommendations

Hi all,

I am bringing my road bike down to adelaide for the weekend. I am looking for a route around adelaide hills.

I enjoy doing some climbing and taking in the scenery that adelaide has to offer. Less traffic the better! That i know is subjective based on the time you leave but i will try to leave in the morning around 7AM. My wife and I have an airbnb in north adelaide so will start from there.

Anything around the 800-1000m elevation mark and 60-70k. I have hit some hills in melbourne over the past six months (did kinglake this weekend). I prob regard myself as a mid-range cyclist so no category 1s or 2s (unless it is doable!)

And any good accomodation recommends for Adelaide bike hol.... Cheap motels with easy access to the hills, town and bay pref.

i ended up creating my own route. Was my fav ride so far in Aus. https://www.strava.com/routes/2811957304511742846 you could easily extend this if you like to do mount lofty and the gorge but i was happy with this.
